Who We Are
The Coachella Valley College Admission Partnership (CV CAP) is a community-driven organization committed to expanding equitable access to higher education for students across the Coachella Valley. We believe that every student—regardless of zip code, income, or background—deserves the opportunity, guidance, and support needed to pursue and succeed in college.
Rooted in the Coachella Valley, our work centers the lived experiences of first-generation college students, students from low-income households, immigrant families, and communities that have historically been excluded from higher education pathways. We meet students where they are and walk alongside them through every stage of the college journey..
What We Do
CV CAP provides hands-on, culturally responsive college access support designed to reduce barriers and demystify the admissions process. Our services include college and career advising, application and financial aid assistance, FAFSA and Dream Act support, scholarship guidance, and workshops for students and families. We also partner with schools, community-based organizations, and local leaders to bring resources directly into the community.
Beyond one-on-one support, we focus on systems-level change by strengthening college-going cultures in the region. Through outreach, advocacy, and collaboration, we work to ensure students have accurate information, trusted guidance, and the confidence to pursue higher education.
